Dear Stereo Jealousy,
I recently went through a period of my life without music – my living room stereo system basically deteriorated and I ultimately decided to replace it. During this time, I could listen to CDs in my car and on a small CD player, but basically didn’t – not part of my routine and the listening was so unsatisfactory comparatively. I really missed playing music, but do vaguely recall ‘hearing’ songs in my head. I wish I had paid more attention like you did. So, I really enjoyed reading this ramble – made me think.
