Gig Of The Week: Black Box Recorder @ Luminaire

After performing a one-off performance last October (number 9 in my end-of-year gig chart) Black Box Recorder return for two London shows, beginning this Wednesday at the Luminaire. Luke Haines is an under-appreciated pop genius, and this incarnation of his work has always been my favourite. Quintessentially British subject matter is their norm, icily delivered by Sarah Nixey. This has been long sold-out, and if you ain’t got a ticket there’s only one thing to say – “Kill yourself, or get over it“.

One Response to “London Live: 16-22 February”

  1. This brings back memories…such a great band. Wish there was a northern date to accompany their London ones.
